Demonoid is coming back... in the Ukraine!
I haven't known before the Ukraine has so liberal laws about copyrights so it's become a unique state in the world where such illegal site as Demonoid may exist. The next Ukrainian government's step should be the soft drugs legalization, I suggest.

By the way, I'm glad to see Demonoid alive.

Identity crash - sudden and catastrophic collapse of an individual's ability to keep all the threads of his or her online identity straight when the individual joins one too many social networks.

Example: I was ok keeping up with Facebook, Flickr, and Myspace, but after throwing lawlink, Last.fm, and Orkut into the mix, I had a total identity crash and forgot what went where.

I have Lj, Blogger, Flickr, Last.Fm, Odnoklassniki, vkontakte (a Russian clone of Facebook), digg and a lot of less important accounts, but I've never had a identity crash. Haven't yet.

I like an idea of Quantum computing. This theoretical device would make use of the properties if quantum mechanics: data is not processed by electrons passing through transistors, as is the case in today’s computers, but by cage atoms known as quantum bits which can also represent a “1” or “0” but crucially can be both at the same time – known as a superposition. It is like massively parallel processing but in one piece of hardware!

I'm never lurking in ICQ because I suppose such behavior is kind of a bad taste in any relationships. However, sometimes people have to lurk for escaping consequences of their presence on line. Some people think that if your ICQ-icon is green you must talk with them about their cats, boyfriends and working duties. This is a disease of first-year-Internet-users who can’t be full of one conversation and need to talk with many people at once catching everybody in their friend-list. But it seems very strange and oppressive when a person with ten-years-Internet-user-history begins to put up his/her problems in IM or e-mails. I believe all problem should be solved privately off-line, but not into the Internet Messenger.

The Wind-up bird Chronicle

Also I’ve finished to read/listen to (I have as a book as an audio book, so I’ve mixed them up) “The Wind-up bird Chronicle” by Haruki Murakami. Of course, I read it before in Russian, but didn’t remember anything except some small stories. And now I’m shocked because I didn’t expect that this book made such impression on me. This is a dark heavy story with crossing lines of good and evil and small ray of light at the end. I liked Murakami a lot, but, unfortunately, I really forgot what exactly I liked in his books. So, this one helped me to remember – these unpredictable hopeless endings, these strange characters with a lot of problem drive me mad because I feel on the one hand I’m the same, but on the other hand I appreciate the big gap between our worlds.
Now I have more books (for reading and listening to) of Murakami and all Harry Potter’s stories in English too.
So, wish me a good reading!

Today I’ve tried to give lecture in English for foreign students. Honestly, it was awful and unnatural although I had a lame excuse I didn’t prepare for such performance and the choice of the language was just dashed off, moreover students were Malaysian.

I understood my English was very, very bad but it is better than two years ago when I gave a lecture in English last time. So I have a slow progress but a progress and it’s not a bad piece of news.
